San Sostene is a beautiful quaint little town in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region of Italy. It is one of the smallest towns in the province of Catanzaro. As of 2007 San Sostene had an estimated population of 1,130. San Sostene is 5 mins from Soverato, 15 minutes away from the town of Catanzaro, and just 35 minutes drive from Lamezia airport which offers direct and indirect inexpensive flights from London. A new motorway is currently being built that will cut this journey time to just 20 minutes.

Borgonovo

Pizzo is one of the most renowned towns in the Vibo Valentia province on the western coast of Calabria. The town is a well-known and popular seaside resort as well as a thriving fishing center. Pizzo and the province to which it belongs to, Vibo Valentia, is famous for its scenic rugged coast, long sandy beaches, pleasant climate and the best ice cream in the world. Il tartufo was invented here in Pizzo to honor the visit of Prince Umberto I of Savoy in 1943. There are about 15 gelaterias in Pizzo, all small family business with their own secret recipe for the tartufo. Pizzo is also famous for its swordfish, pesce sparda and its tuna. Even the Japanese import the tuna of this region. Walking up and down the small alleys in the old centro storico you can enjoy the views of the sea and the roofs of this picturesque little town. The main sight is IL castello Murat, where unlucky Joachim Murat, ex-king of Naples and BIL of Napoleon was imprisoned and executed in 1815. Also an impressive sight is the amount of churches in this little town which has about 9.000 inhabitants. One is built into a grotto, la Chiesa di Piedigrotta. But the heart of Pizzo is La Piazza Repubblica. It is also called IL salotto, the living room, as this is where people meet, especially in the evening.

Paradise View is situated in the Calabria province of Catanzaro in southern Italy. It is one of the most known and beautiful tourist resorts on the Ionian coast, having been referred to as ‘The Gem of Ionian Sea’.
